Despite the turmoil between TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki and SM Entertainment, the boys of TVXQ have been quite busy. Jaejoong and Micky with their COLORS single topping the charts in Japan, Yunho with his acting on Heading to the Ground, Changmin with his preparations for his upcoming acting role, but what about Xiah Junsu?

Well, it seems Xiah Junsu has secretly opened up a Pho restaurant and has been busy with that. According to Women’s Weekly in Japan, a Korean reporter recently took a trip to Xiah Junsu’s new Vietnamese Pho restaurant in Seoul. The reporter stated that the food that was served was delicious and also stated that Xiah Junsu was hard at work in the kitchen. Xiah was seen talking to the kitchen staff and would stay in the back of the restaurant. The reporter went for a total of three days and saw Xiah at the restaurant each day.

Lim Yong Pil, a good friend of TVXQ and former manager of So Ji Sup is also said to be part investor in the restaurant. There’s also rumors that Micky Yoochun may be a part investor as the trio was frequently seen meeting privately. Lim Yong Pil also wrote on his minihompy, “Finally, I’ve started a business with my two younger brothers of TVXQ.” Showing further proof that Micky is also an investor.

Many people also claimed to have seen various members of TVXQ eat randomly at the restaurant to show their support for Xiah Junsu and Micky. Unfortunately, there’s no specific information on the name of the restaurant or where exactly it’s located, but I would love to stop by and eat there. Back in May, we talked about Heaven’s Postman, a telecinema production starring TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki’s Jaejoong and Han Hyo-joo. Back then, there were many rumors that Heaven’s Postman was going to be released around May / June, but for reasons unknown, it kept being postponed. Well, the release date is finally revealed and it’s going to be released on November 25th, 2009.

Jaejoong plays Shin Jae Joon (Japanese character’s name is Yu), an IT worker who gets into an accident and ends up in a vegetative state, becoming a messenger for the present and the afterworld. While traveling back and forth, delivering letters to the departed, he meets Jo Ha Na, played by Han Hyo Joo (Saki), as she is trying to send her boyfriend a letter. She is the only person who can see him.

Heaven’s Postman’s budget is estimated to be around $9 million us. This drama is directed by Lee Hyeong Min, who previously directed Sorry, I Love You and Snow Queen. The script is written by Long Vacation Japanese popular screenwriter, Kitagawa Eriko.

Heaven’s Postman is highly anticipated and some clips of Jaejoong kissing the co-star got fans riled up back in June. With a star like Jaejoong, who’s also very popular in Japan, it should be a hit. Make sure to check out the ONETVXQ Forums.

Earlier we reported on YG Entertainment’s decision to give fans a triple dose of G-Dragon, and on October 23, the heartbreaker will be giving his last installment for this set of promotions!

G-Dragon to Release ‘Butterfly’ MV Tomorrow

GomTV posted the MV release date recently and a representative just confirmed that the music video is scheduled to be released this Friday. First we had Heartbreaker, then Breathe, and now… Butterfly?

Many fans are probably scratching their heads as to why Butterfly was chosen for the last MV of the threesome, since previous sources plus the teaser at the end of Breathe clearly pointed to A Boy. What do you think, are you disappointed that you won’t be hearing more of that falsetto in A Boy, or are you excited to see the GD crooning Butterfly to you this Friday?

Regardless, keep a tab on allkpop to check out this highly anticipated music video right when it hits the net!

It seems like the ladies of SM’s new girl group f(x) are quite into the fashion/modeling scene nowadays, since they’ve been modeling for photoshoots and walking the runway this month – and now, they’re back with a brand new photoshoot for Cosmopolitan Korea.

The girls partnered up with the cosmetic brand Chanel and revealed a sophisticated and charismatic look that is quite different from their usual cute style.

Each girl had their own theme color for this shoot as well: Victoria’s makeover took a mature red theme, Luna and Amber took a more natural nude theme, Krystal had a cute pink theme while Sulli took a eye-catching hot pink theme.

Cosmo also took the liberty of hiring the “Photoshoot Dream Team,” consisting of photographer Lee Kyung-ryul, makeup artist Ryu Hyun-jung, and hairstylist Kim Seung-won, among many other talented staff members. Only the best for the best, I suppose.

Iklan Rampung Dalam Satu Hari

Idol group SHINee will be releasing their second mini-album entitled “Romeo” on May 25th, the anniversary of their debut.

SM Entertainment said, “Originally, the album was supposed be released on the 21st, but due to Onew’s injury, we had no choice but to push back the date. In the end, we decided to release it on SHINee’s first anniversary.”

On the night of the 19th, Onew was injured on the stairs that were located in front of SHINee’s dorm. The doctor has said, “The front teeth were dislocated and would require 1-2 weeks of treatment.” The company has acted accordingly to the doctor’s recommendation that the comeback should be pushed back until Onew gets better.

In order to appease the waiting fans, SM released a preview of “Please, Don’t Go” on SHINee’s official website. Onew and Jonghyun’s perfect harmonizations in the song were well received by the fans.

SHINee also spoke about their feelings, “Time has passed by very quickly, and it’s already been one year since our debut. We are extremely thankful to our supportive fans. Although it is unfortunate that we have to push back our comeback schedule, we are still happy that everyone can listen to our new album. We will show an even more handsome stage to everyone, so please wait a little while longer.”

SHINee’s second mini-album, featuring “Juliette” and 5 more songs, will be released on the 25th.

Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어), often referred to as SJ or SuJu (슈주), is a boy band from Seoul, South Korea that was formed under SM Entertainment in 2005. With a total of twelve members, they are the largest boy band in the world. The members are Leeteuk (the leader), Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum, and later, Kyuhyun. The Chinese member, Han Geng, was chosen among three thousand applicants through auditions held in China by SM Entertainment in 2001.

Super Junior has released and contributed in 19 different kinds of records with varying degrees of success. Over the years, they have been divided into smaller sub groups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. Largely due to Super Junior’s success as entertainers, other Korean entertainment managements began to train their music groups in other areas of entertainment, such as acting and hosting.[3] In addition to their commercial success, Super Junior has earned four music awards from the M.NET/KM Music Festival, another four from the Golden Disk Awards, and is the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the MTV Asia Awards after jtL in 2003.

Musical history

Pre-debut

Since the late 1990s, Korean talent agency and record label SM Entertainment has been holding annual auditions to scout new talents that complemented the success of pop groups H.O.T, S.E.S, and Shinhwa, all of which were created by SM founder Lee Soo-man in the mid 1990s. Leeteuk and Eunhyuk were the first two members of the group to be recruited in 2000 under SM’s Starlight Casting System in Seoul.

In 2001, the company held their first oversea casting auditions and discovered Han Geng in Beijing, who was chosen among three thousand applicants. That same year, Yesung was discovered under Seoul’s casting system; Sungmin and Donghae were then selected to be trainees after their appearance in an SM-sponsored contest. A year later, Heechul and Kangin was recruited along with Kibum, who was discovered in Los Angeles. Siwon was casted in 2003 and Ryeowook in 2004, in which the latter was discovered through the Chinchin Youth Festival singing competition. In 2005, Shindong was selected.

Not long after boy band TVXQ’s debut in 2003, news about Lee’s unprecedented plans of forming another boy band quickly spread on the Internet. In early 2005, Lee confirmed the news and announced that an all-boy project group of twelve members would debut near the end of the year, promoting this singing group to be “The Gateway to Stardom of Asia.” Lee announced that unlike most debuting pop groups that has members with no pre-debut experience, the members in this group were chosen because of their performing experiences as actors, MCs, models, and radio hosts prior debut. Heechul and Kibum made their first appearances in dramas and films; Leeteuk, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, and Siwon have had television appearances, and Han Geng made his first media appearance as a model. Heechul also became an established radio host and MC after his television drama debut in early 2005.Lee also stated, though not directly, that this group would be a rotational group, with a concept very similar to Japan’s girl group, Morning Musume. Line-up changes would occur every year, and new members would replace some of the older members.

For a while the group was rumored to be called O.V.E.R, the acronym for “Obey the Voice for Each Rhythm.”[a] However, before the group settled with their current name, the company simply referred to them as Junior, a representation of the members’ young ages when they first became SM trainees. After the members’ showcased their different talents to the company at a picnic, the company finalized their concept name to Super Junior. The group thereafter became officially Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior.

Super Junior 05 made their pre-debut appearance on the Korean channel Mnet on September 11, 2005.[b] At the showcase, they performed various styles of hip hop dancing. The group danced to B2K’s “Take It To The Floor.” Han Geng, Eunhyuk, and Donghae also performed a separate dance away from the group, dancing to Usher’s “Caught Up.” However, the performance did not air on television until May 16, 2006 as a segment in the Super Junior Show, the group’s first television documentary.
